To honor the memories of loved ones and treasured friends of our congregants, Shalom b’Harim acknowledges Yahrzeits at each of our services prior to the reading of the Mourner’s Kaddish. You may add a name to our Yahrzeit list by filling out this form with the pertinent details.

It is a Mitzvah to give charity to commemorate a Yahrzeit in the memory of those who have departed. It is common in Jewish tradition to “give Chai” – donations of $18 or multiples thereof – to honor the memory of a loved one. Prior to the month of your Yahrzeit(s), Shalom b’Harim will send you a letter inviting you to make a memorial contribution to our synagogue. Any monetary donation to Shalom b’Harim is tax-deductible and will be greatly appreciated.
